I was watching a barista video on YouTube. He was explaining the difference between a latte and capuchino. He said use any kind of milk you want. I was taught that 2%is the milk appropriate for steaming and frothing.
Has anyone done any experimenting with other grades besides 2%.
I always use 2% and get excellent results.
What would happen with half and half? I use that for my drip coffee.
What about steaming liquid CoffeMate?
I successfully steam 2%, whole milk and 1/2 & 1/2 all the time. I've even used table cream and heavy cream on occasion. I do find though that with the higher fat content you need to get the air introduced earlier and then keep the vortex going well without letting more air in.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
